Snake Behavior and Enrichment
|
Snake Enrichment is for stimulation and is just a basic change in the environment. Remember, to be really affective you have to remove the stimulus at the peak of activity. For example: If you place a scent item in side the enclosure of the snake, You want to make sure you take it away when the snake reaches 20+ tongue flicks per minute. The tongue flicks are also a tool for measuring the effectiveness in the enrichment activity. |
